How to get here

Directions from Cusco: Lamay is a 45-minute car ride from Cusco. Both public and private transportation options are available from Calle Puputi (a 10-to-15-minute walk from Cusco’s Main Square). White van “colectivos” and smaller passenger cars provide service from Calle Puputi. Fare can cost from S./6 to S./10 Depending upon the day of the week.

Directions from Pisac: Lamay is a 15-minute car ride from Pisac. For public transportation, look for white van “colectivos” originating in either Cusco or San Salvador en route to Calca. Fare can cost from S./2 to S./3 depending upon the day of the week.

Directions from Urubamba: Lamay is a 35-minute car ride from Urubamba. For public transportation, please look for white vans “colectivos” departing the Urubamba public transportation terminal en route to ENACO – CUSCO. BE CAREFUL – some colectivos go directly to Cusco through Chinchero while others pass through Lamay en route to Cusco. Fare can cost from S./3 to S./4 depending upon the day of the week.

Directions from Calca: Lamay is a 5-minute car ride from Calca. For public transportation to Lamay, look for white van “colectivos” from Calca’s main transportation terminal. Fare can cost from S./1.50 to S./3 depending upon the day of the week.
